Missing in Action

I just  need to write this.  I’ve been trying to write this for the past weeks but i just can’t find the right words to say. Anyway, its been almost a month  that this friend of mine quit his job. I know he has a lot of things on his mind and everything didnt work out the way it supposed to be. SO the last thing i heard from him is  how sad he is about everything about life.. after that I’ve never heard from him and he just made himself invisible to us.. I can only wish that his alright.

So if you ever glance at my page again..Michael…I just want to tell you that if you need a friend..you know that you have it. God Bless

Shoekaholic…

I just realize that I’ve been going back to my old addiction. I always have the itch to go online and just browse on all of my favorite online stores. For the past 3 weeks i keep going to the mall and just hang out , look around..shop a little bit. So now it finally hit me that since I quit gambling, i’m going back to being a shopaholic ……..Hmm..not bad….atleast I get to buy things that I can use rather than just giving my money away for nothing..right…So this what I’ve got myself lately…

Another Computer Story

Last Tuesday, Cris told me that his desktop is not working. He said when he tried to open it , it wont open anymore. It always display fatal error and then i’ll turn off by itself. Being that I have experience a lot of problem with my HP laptop..I told him that he should probably just restore it. But he said he cant even go to that point cause the computer would just shut down. By hearing that, I can feel my BP going up…cause its just not a good time to have another computer problem.

So the following day, I ask him whats the plan cause I know his the kind of guy who can’t live without a computer. He probably can live without me but not without his computer cause his a certified gaming addict. So he told me, he don’t have the budget to have it repaired for now. Since the desktop don’t have warranty at all…just to have it check would cost him $ 100. So I’m like ok, lets wait till we have extra cash, for now just use my sisters mac computer. He agreed. End of story.

Thursday is just another quite day for both of us.

Friday was his day off..and I’m working. I ask him whats his plan and his like, nothing i’ll just stay home, relax, watch Tv, which I thought he did.

BUT I WAS WRONG! I SHOULD KNOW BETTER!

Saturday.. He was all excited that I’m picking up my laptop and his like lets try it right away. And to my surprise ….

Yes….he didnt want to have the desktop fix cause he found a reason to buy this ASUS LAPTOP for gaming. Oh well what can i do. This is the second attempt for him of getting a laptop. Ths first attempt,  I made him cancel his order. But this time he played it smart, he didnt order the laptop, he just bought it like that. And he even kept it from my me for a while. Who can go wrong with that. I just hope that he wont have the same problem that I have. Other wise there will be two losers living in this house.

Computer Dilemma

Another day off..another trip to fry’s electronics. 

I just went to pick up my computer today. Yes your right. They didnt replace my laptop. They said that HP fix it. But again they didnt say what they did or what they fix. They just gave me the laptop, just like telling me…good luck…hope it works now.How ridiculous is that.Anyway, I could care less as long as this laptop works.

 From today I’ll be doing my own countdown and hopefully i dont have to go to frys service center again cause I promise that next timeIt’s going to be  WAR if they insist in fixing it rather than replacing it. So again..Goodluck To Me…Hope it works.

English Placement Test

Ok i know. I suck, when it comes to  writing. I just got my test result today and I didnt make it to the cut. Meaning,  I can’t take the english class that I need. I have to take a much lower class . I’m sad. I didnt expect it to be that bad.

I took the placement test last week. They gave me an article to read and after that they ask me to write an essay about it. Geez….I cant even understand what I read.  . Its like the whole article is so confusing. Needless to say, I cant think of anything to write about the subject . I just did whatever…I  was so frustrated. But atleast, i didnt get to take  the lowest class in english. Otherwise, i would really really feel bad. SO now, the question is,  will I take that class or just opt to take a re-test in 4 months? I dont know..I have to think first and see what  other options I have.

Gotta live and learn…..

Career Change

Me and a co-worker was talking awhile ago and she was ranting to me as to where her career path is heading. And this co-worker of mine was telling me that she’s not happy anymore with her chosen career. She feels like she’s going nowhere with her present job and she reached that point where everything at work had become more like of a tedious routine she has to endure for 8 hours. She said nothing motivates her to go to work anymore and the only reason why she’s keeping her current job is because of the monthly responsibilities she has to pay.

And with all her dilemma, I told my co-worker that she should not let the bills stop her from finding the right career path for her. If she’s no longer happy with her job then I told her that it’s about time she tries other things and considers a career change, like starting her own business perhaps or maybe trying out a culinary career since she has this natural talent in cooking, she just needs proper training. So enrolling to culinary arts schools will surely give her a head start.

To enroll or not to enroll

I had dinner with my gf Sarah yesterday and she told me that our school is offering short term courses. It will start this Oct 22 and ends on Dec something.  She told me that since I may have time…she recommend that I register for another class to speed up the course a little bit. So right now..I’ve been thinking whether to register or not. I dont know…I’m confuse. I’m not sure if I’m ready to give up some of my sleeping time for that. HMMM…..will see…I think i should take the entrance exam first and find out the result of my evaluation before jumping to this one. Hopefully I can do  everything next week cause I’m running out of time.

Toyota Service Center

I just want to make a shout out to Toyota Service Center located in Sahara and Mojave. I was there early thursday morning to have my car service. I didnt know they move to the other side of the street. So when I got there the receptionist immediately took care of me and told me to just walk inside their lounge. I was expecting chairs and Tv just like what they have on their old service center…but to my surprise they have more than just chairs. They have a big waiting area where you can watch TV and sit on those comfy couches. They also have a coffee area complete with all sorts of creamer and sugar. You can get complimentary bottled water as well. It would be nice if they have a free wifi too…wink..wink…:)

All in all it was a pleasant experience and the place is huge so you dont really feel crowded. I didnt even realize that my car is finish cause I’ve fallen asleep in one of their couches. So a big kudos to their shop

Moms Bday Weekend

It was my Mom’s bday last weekend. So all my family drove here to vegas. We went to alot of restaurants from fri,sat and sunday. I cant help but love OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE. its a simple restaurant thats good for the family. Its not that expensive and the food is fantastic. This what I ordered and it was on promo too..

……I did enjoy eating there even if we have to wait for a while.So you guys should try it and dont forget to order an extra of that bread they serve while you wait. REALLY GOOD!!!!
